No matter how tired / rough / sad / lonesome / grumpy etc I feel, this never fails to create a smile…

I was 5p short at the shop today. The lady simply said I could pop it in tomorrow (I go there often as it’s the only shop in the village). Sometimes a simple act of trust is so much more than the price.

One of these cool cats is my Dad. Taken mid/late sixties, my Dad was a skin basher in this and many other bands for the next fifteen years. It’s my new wallpaper on my laptop.

“What’s New?” is an interesting and broadening eternal question, but one which, if pursued exclusively, results only in an endless parade of trivia and fashion, the silt of tomorrow. I would like, instead, to be concerned with the question “What is best?,” a question which cuts deeply rather than broadly, a question whose answers tend to move the silt downstream.
