What is best?

“What’s New?” is an interesting and broadening eternal question, but one which, if pursued exclusively, results only in an endless parade of trivia and fashion, the silt of tomorrow. I would like, instead, to be concerned with the question “What is best?,” a question which cuts deeply rather than broadly, a question whose answers tend to move the silt downstream.

Quote from this book

Vanishing Bees

Are bees a barometer for the wider issue of pollution on this planet? When it comes to nature, I think everything is connected.

What do you think?

Vanishing of the Bees

Mashed Up Tunes

mashed up toons

A deleted scene from one of my favourite films:

An audio book of a classic horror:

Some cool guys rap vocals:

A mashup of two poets I admire, the one the author and the other the reader:

All created in Garageband, starting with only the vocal audio.

I should do more as I really enjoy putting them together…

Embrace: Short Beauty

Currently working up a script for a film short inspired by the work of the fantabulous Hillman Curtis.

Even Hillman was at a stage in his life where he had never written a script before… that’s a comforting and influential thought for us all as we pursue new creative endeavours.

A Start

I like starting things. It has its own rhythm and *expectation.

*Don’t expect too much though so you can be impressed as we go on.
