Heading Stateside
I’m heading stateside to New York and Philadelphia for a few days (tad nervous as I’m not a big fan of cities or loads of people—honoured to have the means and opportunity though).
Memory Overkill
1 terabyte (for main backup as my existing 320 gigabyte is nearly full), 320 gigabyte (about the size of a A5 moleskine and will be used for when I’m traveling) and 8 gigabyte (to beef up my new HD cam).
The alleged computer on board Apollo 11 had 32k of memory—the equivalent of a simple calculator.
Liberation

Liberation explores a great quote by Jorgen Leth on limitations and imagination.
Shot on my new Samsung VP-HMX20C HD using the macro mode it’s my first ever creative endeavour (and first upload to vimeo—be nice).
Music also by me via Garageband—feel free to comment as I need to learn…
My Sexy New Toy
Widescreen, check. High Definition, check. Internal hard drive, check. Filter options, check. External mic input, check. Looks the biz, check.
Look out Hillman, here I come…
Personification
On the train home from London someone had decided to add a little life to the back of the armrest. Made me smile, especially when the person in front started to move it.
Paradox Punch
I’m a pacifist. Hate violence. Denounce war. Reject macho-egos. Then why do I enjoy strapping up my fists and punching the beejeebers out of a bag or a partners pads?
The Light Ages
The Dark Ages were defined by “a lack of contemporary written history, general demographic decline, limited building activity and material cultural achievements in general” (source).
Does that mean we know are living in the Light Ages?

Smiles
No matter how tired / rough / sad / lonesome / grumpy etc I feel, this never fails to create a smile…
(I used to be a ‘greaser’ when I was in my teens!)
