One of these cool cats is my Dad. Taken mid/late sixties, my Dad was a skin basher in this and many other bands for the next fifteen years. It’s my new wallpaper on my laptop.

“What’s New?” is an interesting and broadening eternal question, but one which, if pursued exclusively, results only in an endless parade of trivia and fashion, the silt of tomorrow. I would like, instead, to be concerned with the question “What is best?,” a question which cuts deeply rather than broadly, a question whose answers tend to move the silt downstream.
Are bees a barometer for the wider issue of pollution on this planet? When it comes to nature, I think everything is connected.

Been about twenty years since I last played and tonight I lost every game I participated in at the second Scrabble Sunday event. Fun though.
Currently working up a script for a film short inspired by the work of the fantabulous Hillman Curtis.
Even Hillman was at a stage in his life where he had never written a script before… that’s a comforting and influential thought for us all as we pursue new creative endeavours.

I like starting things. It has its own rhythm and *expectation.
*Don’t expect too much though so you can be impressed as we go on.
